Johnny Depp removes edited photo with Robert Downey Jr. post-Oscars

Johnny Depp took to Instagram to congratulate his friend Robert Downey Jr. on his recent Academy Award win for his role in ‘Oppenheimer.’ However, Depp’s attempt to share a photo of the two together backfired when it was revealed to be a photoshopped image that had been circulating online for years.

After deleting the fake photo, Depp posted a real picture of him and Downey at the Golden Globes in 2011 with a caption congratulating his friend. Downey’s win for best supporting actor was a significant moment in his career, which has seen its share of ups and downs, including a period of legal troubles in the late ’90s.

Despite his past struggles, Downey made a triumphant comeback with his role as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, leading to his well-deserved Oscar win. In his acceptance speech, Downey expressed gratitude to director Christopher Nolan and producer Emma Thomas for their support, as well as his longtime lawyer Tom Hansen for sticking by him through thick and thin.

Overall, Downey’s win was a testament to his talent and resilience in the face of adversity.
