No US release for Samsung’s Pixel 8a rival

Galaxy fans in the US will have to choose between the A35 or the S23 FE as Samsung has decided not to launch the Galaxy A55 in the country for now. The Galaxy A54 was a popular choice in the budget Android segment with its premium build, 120Hz display, and decent cameras. The new Galaxy A55 offers even more upgrades with a bigger display, faster chip, and other improvements. However, Samsung has confirmed that the A55 will not be available in the US market at this time.

On a positive note, the Galaxy A35 will be making its debut in the US soon. This is a surprising move as the company usually launches its A5x phones in the US, not the A3x models. The Galaxy A35 combines the best features of the A55 in a more affordable package with the internals of the A54.

Samsung’s statement mentioned that the Galaxy A35 5G will be coming to the US market, while the A55 will not be available. The company encourages customers to consider the Galaxy S23 and S23 FE as alternatives. This marks the first time in years that Samsung’s best mid-ranger won’t be available in the US, but there is still a possibility of a future launch.

With the success of Samsung’s flagship sales in the US, it’s understandable why they have decided not to launch the A55 for now. The Galaxy S24 is outselling the S23 series by 14% in the US and has seen significant growth in sales in other markets as well. Customers in the US can explore other mid-range options like the Google Pixel 7a and OnePlus 12R for better performance and value.

In conclusion, while the Galaxy A55 won’t be available in the US, there are still plenty of great smartphone options to choose from. Samsung’s decision reflects the competitive market and the success of their flagship devices. Customers can look forward to the Galaxy A35 and explore other alternatives for their smartphone needs.
