Helldivers 2 wants players to free 4 planets to activate the Terminid Control System – a big mission after releasing the mechs

The latest Major Order in Helldivers 2 is now live, tasking players with quarantining the Terminid threat by liberating four planets. These planets, Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing, are located on the eastern side of the Galactic War board and require players to activate the Terminid Control System to contain the buggy threat. Unlike typical liberation missions, these planets have a ‘TCS Installation Progress’ bar to track the progress of the new initiative. The operation is classified as a “High-Priority Campaign,” indicating its importance in the ongoing battle against the Terminids.

The TCS was first mentioned during the operation to free the mechs on Tien Kwan, and now players have the opportunity to participate in the installation process on the four planets. Once the TCS installation meter is complete on all platforms, the hope is that the “Termicide” will eliminate the Terminid threat across the frontier. However, given the unexpected twists that have occurred in previous missions, players should be prepared for potential surprises from Game Master Joel.

The Helldivers 2 community has faced challenges in spreading democracy during the Galactic War, highlighting the complexities of the ongoing conflict. As players engage in the new Major Order and work towards activating the Terminid Control System, they must remain vigilant and adaptable to overcome the obstacles ahead.
