Chiefs owner ranked worst in NFL, players union survey shows after back-to-back Super Bowls - Fox News

The owner of the Chiefs has been ranked as the worst in the NFL, according to a survey conducted by the players union. This comes after the team’s consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs, back-to-back champions, are still in need of significant improvements despite their recent success. The team has officially established themselves as a dynasty, becoming the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles since 2005 and securing their third championship in five years. However, players in the league have given owner Clark Hunt an F-minus rating, the lowest in the NFL.

According to a survey conducted by the NFLPA, players are frustrated with the team’s facilities, particularly the long-overdue renovations to the locker room. Although Hunt had promised renovations after the 2022 season, they never materialized, leaving players feeling let down. The team also received low scores in nutrition and training staff, with players feeling that they do not receive adequate support and treatment.

The frustration among players is evident, with the report stating that there has been a lack of reinvestment in the facilities despite the team’s consistent success. This has resulted in Hunt being ranked as the least willing NFL owner to invest in team facilities. The Chiefs have not yet responded to the survey findings.

On the other hand, head coach Andy Reid received high praise from the players, being ranked as the best head coach in the league. The Chiefs have expressed their desire to become the first team to three-peat, a feat that has not been achieved in the four major sports since the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000 to 2002.

Despite their recent success, the Kansas City Chiefs are facing significant challenges in addressing the concerns of their players and improving their facilities. The team’s ownership and management will need to take steps to address these issues in order to maintain their status as one of the top teams in the NFL.
