Tanev traded to Stars in 3-team deal with Flames

Dallas Stars defenseman Chris Tanev was acquired from the Calgary Flames on Wednesday in a three-team trade also involving the New Jersey Devils. Tanev has 14 points this season and may make his debut with the Stars on Tuesday. Due to visa issues, his debut may be delayed until the game at the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Tanev is excited to join the team and make his mark. Along with Tanev, Dallas also acquired goalie prospect Cole Brady. The Stars currently lead the Central Division and are looking to supplement their roster for the playoffs.
