Raiders add game-changer Wilkins, say goodbye to Jacobs’ leadership

The Las Vegas Raiders made a big move in free agency by signing defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. This signing should help bolster their defense and make a significant impact on the team. In addition to Wilkins, the Raiders also signed quarterback Gardner Minshew and said goodbye to running back Josh Jacobs and right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. The Raiders are clearly in win-now mode, as evidenced by their aggressive moves in free agency. Wilkins should provide much-needed support for defensive end Maxx Crosby, who lost one of his best friends on the team in Jacobs. Despite the departure of Jacobs, the Raiders are confident in their ability to find a suitable replacement either through the draft or later in free agency. Overall, the Raiders are looking to build a strong team both offensively and defensively, with the goal of making a deep playoff run in the upcoming season.
