Slayer, the iconic thrash metal band, will be performing at Riot Fest in Chicago this fall for the first time in five years. The two-time Grammy Award winning band gained fame with their third studio album “Reign in Blood” in 1986, featuring hit songs such as “Angel of Death” and “Raining Blood”. Their twelfth studio album “Repentless” was released in 2015 and the single “Delusions of Saviour” has garnered over 121 million streams on Spotify Music. After their farewell tour from Spring 2018 to Winter 2019, this performance at Riot Fest will mark their return to the stage. The festival will take place at Douglas Park from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22, and tickets are currently on sale.
