The Wisconsin Badgers are set to kick off their NCAA Tournament journey with a game against the James Madison Dukes this Friday at 9:40 P.M. ET. After securing a No. 5 seed, the Badgers had a strong showing at the Big Ten Tournament, defeating the Maryland Terrapins, Northwestern Wildcats, and Purdue Boilermakers before falling to the Illinois Fighting Illini in the finals.

Ranked 19th overall in the tournament, the Badgers will face off against a formidable James Madison team that boasts a 31-3 record in the regular season, with a 15-3 record in the ASUN conference. The Dukes have been a high-scoring team all season, averaging 84.4 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Wisconsin will have an extra day of rest before their game on Friday, providing them with an opportunity to recuperate after playing four games in four days. With a late tip-off time, the Badgers will have the chance to get healthy and prepare for their matchup against James Madison.
